Private Selection Red was launched for the first time in 1987, with the name "Garrafeira". Initially produced from the best Esporão Reserve barrels, today it results from the combination of single portions from the territories where we are present, in the Alentejo. A wine that demonstrates the diversity and richness of Esporão. In exceptional years, this combination gives origin to the Esporão Tower. Esporão was born in the Alentejo out of the unconditional will to make the best wines. This is the motivation that remains at the basis of everything we do, now extended to other products and territories. In every place, nature inspires us and helps us do better.
